The Citizenship by Investment program in Grenada was established following the passage of the Citizenship by Investment Act, 2013, by the Grenadian parliament. This legislation safeguards the program and is officially known as the ‘Citizenship by Investment Act, 2013 (Act No. 15 of 2013).’
The law is formally documented, published, and incorporated into Grenada’s legal framework as ratified by the national parliament. It provides that any individual may apply for naturalization and become eligible for citizenship upon payment of the required fees, provided the Government is convinced that the applicant has made a significant investment in Grenada.
The Grenada Citizenship by Investment Program requires applicants to make either a significant economic contribution or acquire a government-approved qualifying asset. After undergoing a comprehensive vetting and due diligence process, including background checks, successful applicants and their families are granted citizenship.
