Residence by Investment Programs

The Portugal Golden Visa, officially known as the Portugal Residency By Investment Program (RIB), grants non-European Union nationals a five-year residency opportunity in an European Union (EU) member state through qualifying investments. This program is rooted in Portuguese law, specifically the Immigration Act (Law No. 23/2007 of July 4), with its core regulatory framework outlined in Article 90-A. It was first established under Regulatory Decree No. 84/2007 and later refined through amendments, including Law No. 29/2012.

There are multiple pathways to secure Portuguese residency through investment. At The Premiere, we focus on two streamlined and valid options for obtaining residency in Portugal:

  1. Portugal Fund Investment (Golden Visa Program)
  2. Portugal Startup Visa (D2 Visa)
