Joy Nwaokoro is the Chief Product Officer at The Premiere, where she leads a team focused on the development and management of strategic products and partnerships in the areas of immigration, citizenship, and real estate. Joy plays a pivotal role in driving cross-border collaborations with both local and international stakeholders to deliver client-centred solutions in complex global markets.
Joy holds an MBA from the University of South Wales and is a Certified Wealth Management Professional (CWMP), accredited by the International Academy of Business and Financial Management (IABFM). She also earned a Certificate in Financial Planning from Florida State University and is a graduate of Computer Science. Early in her career, she became an Oracle Database Administrator Certified Professional and served as a faculty member at NIIT.
With over 17 years of professional experience, Joy has built a diverse and accomplished career across multiple sectors, including Information Technology, Aviation, and Financial Services.
She began her career in IT, lecturing in Oracle 10G at NIIT, where she demonstrated a strong technical foundation and a passion for knowledge sharing. She then transitioned into the aviation industry, joining Virgin Nigeria Airways as a Commercial Analyst. In this role, she supported the airline’s financial and strategic decision-making processes, providing insights that enhanced profitability, operational efficiency, and market competitiveness.
Joy later moved into the financial services sector, where she held various roles spanning Product Development, Strategy, Business Development, and Wealth Management. She worked with reputable institutions such as ARM Investment Managers and TrustBanc Financial Group. Her strong performance and leadership led to her eventual appointment as Group Head of Sales at a leading financial holding company.
Throughout her career, Joy has consistently leveraged data-driven insights to guide strategic initiatives and deliver measurable business outcomes across industries.
